Notification Workshop
April 26th, 2009 Posted in NotificationThe regulations under which we home educate require that families with children between the ages of 6 and 18 years of age notify the superintendent of their school district annually of their intent to home educate.
HOTR hosts an annual workshop to assist families in completing the notification process.
WHO: This workshop would be of benefit to any parent who has never completed the notification process. Any parent intending to home educate is welcome to attend.
Note: We regret that children cannot be accommodated at this adult meeting. Please make other arrangements for your children. (Nursing babies are always welcome.)
WHEN: Monday, August 2, 2010, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
WHERE: Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio
COST: $5, payable at door.
Presenter: Mitzi Smith, Chairman of HOTR. The Smiths have been homeschooling for 19 years, they have served as CHEO regional representatives in the past, and Mitzi has served as HOTR chairman for 17 years.

Directions to Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City.
From I-71: take the Stringtown Road exit (#100), turn west towards downtown Grove City. Drive 1 mile to Hoover Road. Turn left on Hoover. Drive 1 mile to GCCN. Church will be on your left. Park in South Lot, enter through glass doors under portico.
Meeting Room: Meeting will be held in the Hospitality Center, located on first floor in narthex.
